Ok, I have a few questions about how this card works. Mostly they center around the order and timing in which cards enter the discard pile.
Lets say that I have a couple of units on the table, A and B. My opponent plays Troll Vomit, I respond by playing Order in Chaos. I have two cards in my discard pile currently, lets call them X and Y. X is the top card.
On my current understanding of the card OiC would resolve first and put X and Y on top of my deck. OiC would then enter my discard pile. Troll Vomit would go off putting A and B into my discard pile on top of OiC. A couple of extra questions arise from that.
1. What order do X and Y go back on top of my deck in? The card does not specify so I assume the player choses.
2. What order do A and B enter the discard pile in? I am pretty much assuming again the controller of the card chooses in the absence of any other specific ruling.
3. When does a tactic card played as part of an action chain go to the discard pile. Is it when it is played, when it resolves or when the whole stack is resolved?
OK, now lets assume A posseses an ability allowing it to sacrifice itself, it doesnt really matter what for. I use that action after Troll Vomit. My opponent plays no action and I then play OiC. We both pass and the stack resolves.
OiC resolves first however A is now the top card of my discard pile, the sacrifice being part of the cost and presumably being payed when the action is activated.
If tactics enter the discard pile when played OiC arguably affects itself putting OiC and A on top of my deck. I dont think this can possibl be right as it produced some insanely easy cycling opportunities. If tactics go to the discard pile after they resolve then A and X go on top of my deck. If tactics enter the discard pile after a whole chain resolves then Troll Vomit puts B into my discard pile and OiC puts A and B on top of my deck.
