Boomer and a Super Crisis question.

By Ring_of_Gyges, in Battlestar Galactica

Is a Super Crisis Card a type of Crisis Card?

We had two possibile interpretations in a game last night: "Yes, it's a crisis card, a super one!" or "No, a "crisis card" is one type of card, a "super crisis card" is another."

Any official word on which interpretation is correct? The reason it matters is that Boomer's once per game ability applies when "resolving a skill check on a Crisis Card".

I hope this helps: "Super Crisis Cards are immune to character abilities that specifically affect Crisis Cards." (Fine print on page 30).

Thanks for playing!! gui%C3%B1o.gif

It's also important to note that revealed Cylons cannot use abilities or suffer from penalties on their character cards. So, if Boomer revealed herself to be a Cylon, and later found a regular Crisis card from the Caprica Cylon location, she could not use her auto-fail/succeed ability on it.
