Good maps with 1-inch grids for 40k gaming?

By Cromwell Bootstrap, in Rogue Trader

Hi all

have been playing DH and RT fairly regularly and painted up minis for the PCs. I have an extensive collection of D&D maps and tiles but was wondering if anyone knows of other sources. Bonus points for gothic sci-fi stuff but for RT all manner of weird xeno stuff is appropriate. Below is what I have so far

Found this stuff in Paizo which has some potential but you have to go through it to dig out the appropriate stuff.

Cubicle 7s gamescapes may also have potential - has a real frontier feel for RT anyway

Plus the Gamma World game that is forthcoming from WOTC should give of plenty of post apocalyptic goodness.

There are plenty of interesting maps for the various incarnations of the clix games but their grids are a fair bit bigger than one-inch so tend to give a pretty small tactical area for the minis fights.

The real holy grail would be for FFG to bang out a few maps themselves. I would buy those in a heartbeat

- RT bridge for ships

- DW Space Marine Fortress monastery

- Hive sprawls etc.

Posting this on all three forums to maximise responses. Don't know if there is a clever internet way to do this so I'll just crack on.

I'm in about the same boat as you are. I scrounge what I can from other games/companies. I usually just end up drawing something on a grid but would love to see more products along this line.

Okayy......this can become rather lenghty, please forgive me
