I have not been able to find any specific mention of the population size of Port Wander as it relates to acquisition tests. Can someone point me to that information?
Population of Port Wander

Nothing concrete that I can find; though, my search skills are at the sub-Leet levels. However, I believe Port Wander was described as being massive, capable of docking several; perhaps dozens of, ships of cruiser class and larger at once. This would probably make it anywhere from 3-5 times the size of a typical Wayfarer -class space station which is detailed on page 210 of Rogue Trader . It could be even larger then my estimation, but 15-25 km in diameter with from 30,000-50,000+ crew and nearly half a million "residents" is probably a good starting off point.

I'd go for about half a million people on the station at any one time, given that dozens of ships might be positioned in orbit around it at any one time. It's pretty much the hub of all trade and travel in Koronus.
Its a vast orbital through which the wealth of the Koronus expanse flows. Its also a naval base and major port.
I'd put the population in the tens of millions. Remember, its Warhammer 40,000, don't think big, think vast!
Also, a place like Port wander should be capable of effortlessly refilling a ships crew and when you consider that a cruiser has 65,000 crew, let alone the bigger naval ships....i'd go for huge.
Wow...lots of different opinions on this. There's an illustration in the book that does indeed portray the port as extremely huge (the little RT ships docking beneath give it some scale). I just wish that GW and FFG would have listed the actual number since it's such an important location. I find that rather odd.
this is straight from Into the Storm. 5 million on the station with roughly 5 million more in the surrounding asteroids and such.
Also, as gribble said, it's built to be a Port. I'd count it as a catagory larger for ship-related things, and a catagory smaller for foods and other planet based items.

I knew I'd seen it somewhere
Teaches me for not remembering everything in my playtest documents!
