Ok, I have 2 groups that play with my Descent, but one group currently have an advanced campaign going, the other one doesn't. Some of the characters are used in the advanced campaign with their items and skills, but I'll need to get them back to play with the normal-Descent group. Doing that might forget what items the heroes have in the advanced campaign. What should I do?

Somewhere you've been storing the information for which dungeons have been explored, cities razed, etc. I recommend using the same method for storing character info so you don't have multiple places to look when its time to play again (or multiple things that can go wrong and make you lose your progress). So if you're already using pencil and paper to track the conquest, XP, etc. then keep using that.

There's a great spreadsheet on BGG that we use. We have 3 different campaigns going in my group (one RtL, two SoB) with a handful of different players (3 of the 5 are common in all groups), and occasionally we run a vanilla quest too, so the Spread Sheet is extremely useful. It records everything and we haven't had a problem between sessions.
