...got another preview for you guys....

By Curator, in Warhammer: Invasion The Card Game

Neutral card. Cost 2. Order only. All of your attacking units gain Savage 1 this turn....

O.o

No pic this time sorry.

I was right, I knew there would be a card like this!

I am looking forward to this expansion more and more.

Oh and another type of Slayer is coming.

One more card to a pure slayer deck =) (I think that would be cool to have a slyer deck, there wouldn't be any synergy and it wont be competitive but it will be neat)

What is the slayer card name?

I think mostly the slayers work fine in most dwarf decks. Note, that King Kazador is an obvibius candidate to lead the slayers (deck), since he has an ongoing grudge with a whole goblin tribe and their leader.

The neutral card is not really suprising, but I guess it's ok. Is savage stacks like counterstrike do ?

BTW, I would like to see some cards executing the Necromancy keyword some interesting way, or with some interesting CiP or leaves play ability. Could it happen please ? :)

Yes Savage stacks.

Note that Savage, toughness and counterstrike all stack the same way. They all just add to the number on the ability. So if you have something with Savage 2 and it gains Savage 1, it can still only hit 1 unit when it's damaged, rather than pinging one target for 2 and one target for 1.

This could get nasty. A really good card this will be.

Sorry, not to derail the thread but I was wondering if I could confirm something.

Say I have Mountain Barracks, which says "Your Dwarf units in this zone gain Toughness 1". So if I have a Dwarven unit in the zone with Toughness 2 already and then I play Mountain Barracks in that zone, will that Dwarven unit have a total Toughness of 3 or will it stay as 2? I always figured that it would stay as Toughness 2 as Mountain Barracks gives the unit Toughness 1 but since its inherent Toughness of 2 is greater, therefore it stays at 2. Does it actually say in the rules that Toughness stacks?

Thanks!

"When a unit is gaining Toughness from multiple
sources, the numerical effects stack on top of each
other." (p. 16)

Same for Counterstrike, so no reason to think Savage wouldn't be the same.

Ah, must have missed that part in the rulebook.

Thanks for the clarification!
