I just got in a Warhammer Invasion League and one of the things to accomplish is to "do 30 points of damage to the opponents capital in one turn." This league has been fun and got me to do some things I have not done before and helped my playing I think. I only have a couple of things to still accomplish, win with 3 heros and the 30 points of damage and have 5 developments in each zone. Any Ideas? I was thinking of Dwarf-High Elf deck with a Bolt Thrower. Or perhaps Skaven deck. I have 3 of everything and all expansions and battle pacs etc. I have had 3 heroes in my Dark Elf deck before but not all out at once. (you have to win with all 3 out). Any suggestions on the 30 points of damage deck?

Easiest might be massive Skaven attack (having the Fellblade somewhere and Grayseer out, as well). OR just Orcs with Basha's BloodAxe (or BattleAxe, I forget its specific name)...and on top of either of these ideas, use a couple of Waaauggghhhs!!

Can the 30 pts be done with the unitless bolt thrower deck? Is this a situation where you have to do the actual points or can you say "Look, it would have done 30 pts if his capital didnt burn first"?

The heroes one should definately be done with a skaven deck. My preference would be a chaos skaven deck using Malekh the Changer.

The "Achievements" list it as "Crush 'Em ... Deal 30 points of damage to your opponent's capital in one turn."

The other one is "Super Heroic ... Win a game with 3 Heros in play at the same time."

The last one I need is "Urban Sprawl ... Have 5 developments in each zone". I figure I can do this with Dwarfs, especially some of the cards where you play a card and then get to put an automatic development down for example Ancestral Tomb in The Fall of Karak Grimaz.

I had made an all Neutral Deck (which was one of the achievements that you had to win a game with). First time I played Skaven, dam it was fast and a lot of damage for sure. Almost took the fun out of playing for me, guess I'm sort of a slow but come on strong at the end kind of guy. I got a nice DE deck that barely makes it through the beginning hands (but does make it) then I often get 12-14 resources and sometimes as many as 8-10 units out at the end. I think I got a player PO'ed with that deck, especially since he was playing Orcs (no Skaven in it).

Anyway "Crush 'Em" ideas would be appreciated. It has been fun in the league although there are only a few people playing in it. Still it made me do some things I probably would not have done. I mainly play with my wife so did not play Skaven ....so I could continue to play with my wife, if you know what I mean.

The easiest way to do the 30 damage challenge is the thrower decks. But given that you want a deck that is a bit more fun, I'd go with a Basha's Bloodaxe / Waaagh! plan.

A well planned use of a Grudge Thrower could do it easily.
