Fire and some questions after my first game

By smilekinua, in Battles of Westeros

Dear all, Hi!

1) How we can see rules said us that when the fire limit is equal the fire's token number - we have to place devastation token.
Ok, but there is a question - Do we need remove fire's token instead deastation? Or the both tokens are on the hex and fire is limit's number again and again (untill extinguish by unit)?

2) The fire of level 4 spread on what direction? How I can see the direction of fire spreading?

3) The rules said us: the counter-atacking does not disengage unit. But if the counter-atack force unit to retreat - what is happen? As we played - engage token was removed and unit retreated, but may be it is more correct to read it as - while counter-atacking unit roll dices the flag is ignored?

And one discussion question in this way: The retreat is lucky for unit if it is engaged often, therefore may be atacker may choose - aplly the flag roll or not?

4) The Lady Meage Mormont Comander card consist the description of commity ability that alows atack dwice. But it is written: twice a round - can I read it as twice a turn? Exmle: My Maege contolles unit (fresh) in the turn, I have flip Comander card and activate the unit (eitherway - order or command) to atack twice?

My eyes are hurting after reading your post...

1) When a hex have a token of the same level as its Burnvalue you remove the firetoken and put down a devastation instead, thats what the rules say.

2) Also stated in the rules, your randomize one of the 1-6 tokens and then the fire spreads depending on number and how its stated in the Battlebook for the mission you are playing

3) Again, stated in the rules (did you eve read the rulebook? ^^). Flags count when counterattacking and the unit hit will retreat and thus break engagement

4) Question has been asked before but no cler answer from developers yet

Thank you for answer. It is clear for me now.

Sorry for my English grammar :) .

Wait for answer about Maege ability.

Greetings all.

A couple of quick comments.

1) Can you reference the page number for the rules where you found that a devastation token replaces a fire token? Fire is normally removed only when extinguished by unit or by Special Rules so if an artifact from a previous iteration of the rules remains, I may need to address it.

4) Maege's ability is just for that one attack. So basically you declare an attack and flip to give two attacks. The time should probably be turn (to not cause confusion with a longer time period) but it is just for the one attack.

Hopefully that answers the Maege conundrum.
