FAQ 1.6
I also like the new tourney rules! A joust win is now worth 5 points! woohoo! I like the Modified Win as well. Good deal there. Should make intentional draws a thing of the past.
nothing that cool in the FAQ. I was pumped to see an errata on Fear of Winter, but it was next to pointless.

Haha, yeah. I'm glad that
Proper Tournament Etiquette
thread did something
It also makes Wildlings and NW much more playable at Gencon.
Good to have the 5/3/1/0 format, that should help things - and I like the 'if tied, who won head-to-head' rule (was that there before?).
Erratta was pretty non-existent.

And I think cool and big - plot rotation at last is clear.

Revealed and used states on plots was kind of big in my opinion. The Wildling Wisewoman example was good clarification as well. No big game changers though (i.e. AGH errata, bannings, etc.)

If you're referring to the "Breaking Ties" section, it was there before.
Who is Kraznys mo Naklo s ?
So you guys are able to open the FAQ PDF? It seems to be malformed to me. I've tried opening it in two different browsers and it won't work properly.

With about a week and a half to Gencon, there really shouldn't be, should there? The plot timing thing does have a few larger implications, though. (Power of Blood in the pre-plot window of the next round, for instance.)
This FAQ seems to have been more about making a number of rulings and common clarifications official. (Everyone scrolled all the way to the end and noticed the "First Response when cards are brought out of Shadows" and the "Timing on Val's ability" entries, right?)

I was merely making the statement. Not complaining or praising. I don't think there should be any big game changers so close to GenCon.
The new point system for Tournaments is arguably a big game changer (personally I like it a lot). The North decks don't have to worry about one of their biggest problems anymore time. Not that the old system would have prevented The North decks from appearing at GenCon. It's just that now there's really no reason not to run them if you think you can make the strongest deck using them.

You're definitely not alone on that one.
Ditto on the FoW errata. Dang.
Gotta jump on the bandwagon here.
I saw FoW and was getting excited, just to have my hopes dashed away.
Thanks so much for Krasnys' errata ! It was so painfull to remember that Compelled by the Roc was banned while seeing Krasnys moving all your attachements against you.

I think you may be misreading the errata. Krasnys can still move as many attachments that an opponent controls as he wants. It's just that now he can only move any given attachment once per phase. The errata doesn't really weaken Krasnys' ability. It instead closes up an infinite loop of two Krasnys' going back and forth stealing a 0-cost attachment over and over again.
Really nice changes to the FAQ. I hope we keep seeing updates like this that are so in tune with what is discussed in this subforum and the rules subforum. It's reassuring to get clarifications added to the FAQ to questions that were almost all brought up in the Rules Q&A before this FAQ came out.
Honestly, my favorite part of all of this is the scoring changes for Joust and 3 player tables in melee. Very well thought out, and it tackled a number of serious problems IMHO.
I did find it interesting to note in some of the timing walkthroughs on page 16 (I was trying to determine in challenge resolution whether first responses to the Framework Action Window for Challenge Resolution started with Active Player or First Player), that they'll still make reference to cards that don't exist in the LCG, like Put to the Sword and Treachery.
I only wish we had (and I saw this with fond nostalgia) a more complete record of the number of times the "movement of plot cards from state to state" has been re-worded. Do I understand correctly, that we now will only lack a plot card between set up & first plot reveal (though someone could use Margaery Tyrell to force a reveal before the framework reveal) ?

No, I'm reading it correctly. But "once per turn" and "at will" are two différents things. IMHO, Krasnys was too powerfull because he could move 3 or 4 attachements the turn he enters play. Even if you've got some character control, he could break the game in one turn. Now, in hte same case, he would move only one attachement and then you've got 1 entire turn to kill him/discard him/blank him etc...
Just imagine a Chella that say "Response: After you win a challenge in which at least 1 Clansman character participated, pay X gold to choose and return any number of locations to its owner's hand, where X is the combinated printed gold cost of those locations.", it would be too powerfull ! But fortunately you can trigger her ability only once (or twice if lucky) in a turn, that's why it's a balanced card. The same for Krasnys (1 per turn is ok, at will is too much) with the difference that he takes control of the card, he doesn't return it in your hand...

Yeah, that's how I understand it too.

I think this is a the way it should be. Mechanically, you reveal a new plot card by putting it on top of your old one. Having the old one move to the used pile at a different point in time just adds in an extra layer of complexity and is non-intuitive since the plot is still "revealed" (no other plot on top of it) even when it was technically in the used pile.
