As the subject says, I'm wondering if there will be guidelines available for conversions of old material. Also if there will be rewrites/reprints of old adventures with the new rules.

I think the systems are too different to allow for a direct conversion right now. As new products are released for 3e, I think you'll see more people creating such conversions. 2e had some pretty decent campaigns and adventures not to see a conversion down the road.
