DE/Skaven to improve

By Philos, in Warhammer Invasion Deck Building

First of all I want to reduce my deck to 50. Throwing out Vile Sorceress and Har Garneth could be a way, But what to do then with the free three cards?

(53 cards, 18 distinct)

Unit (27)

3 Clan Moulder's Elite

3 Clan Rats

3 Gutter Runners

3 Shades

3 Vile Sorceress

3 Greyseer Thanquol

3 Poison Wind Globadiers

3 Deathmaster Sniktch

3 Rat Ogres

Tactic (12)

3 Chillwind

3 Chittering Horde

3 Dark Visions

3 We Need Your Blood

Support (14)

3 Warpstone Excavation

3 Contested Village

3 Har Ganeth

2 Scout Camp

3 Greyseer's Lair

Don't cut Har Ganeth, it's very solid. The Sorceresses are sometimes amazing and sometimes just meh depending on your matchup.

I'd try something like:

-2 Scout Camp (I do not think the effect of this is worth it, random alliances to give you more DE loyalty are better)

-3 Greyseer's Lair (free Chitters are nice but as a 4-cost support it doesn't do enough)

-3 Dark Visions (I don't like the double loyalty on this, it's just a tad too slow)

-3 Gutter Runners (these guys are developments almost all the time when I play DE - yes you can restore them with chillwind but they're not worth it)

-1 Rat Ogres (they are good but 4 cost is a lot)

-1 Poison Wind Globadiers (I don't think you need 3 unless you are running Call the Blood)

+2 DE/Orc Alliance

+2 Walking Sacrifice (lobber crew insurance, combo with har ganeth)

+3 Innovation (always)

+3 Hate (I like it with the chitters)

Confused as to why you don't see the usefulness of Gutter Runners as impactful enough, Clamatius? Too slow?

Yeah, coming into play corrupted is a huge downside, especially when you have Globadiers, Deathmaster and Clan Rats who all want to be restored too. Having 6 scouts is pretty nice but the Runners just don't seem as good as other possibilities. They are not awful but I just don't think they make the cut.

@Clamatius:

Thanks for big help and useful ideas. There is one thing I do not understand: What do you mean by the combo with Walking Sacrifice and Har Ganeth?

WS has 1HP, so it's legit HG-target. WS also costs 0 and has a Forced: draw a card whenever he leaves play. So you just WS, then HG beginning of your next turn to draw a card, WS back to play. For no resource cost, you're getting an extra card each turn.

AH...okay, that makes sense. Fair enough. Thanks for clarifying.
