Thanks to the material in the Winds of Magic supplement (which kicks all kinds of ass, btw), I've been toying with the idea of a campaign in which all of the protagonists are wizards.
Here are a few key points that I'm contemplating:
- Each wizard is of a different Order.
- Each character gets a handful of free, NON-Career advances to spend on Skills. The reason for this is not only add a bit of diversity to the party, but to reflect who they were prior to joining the colleges.
- Putting a focus on rituals and collaborative spellcasting. There's a bit of houseruling here, obviously, but it would be neat if, to defeat the main antagonist, the protagonists had to pool their resources together, collect rare ingredients and perform a huge ritual.
Anyhoo, have any of you ran a similar campaign in this system or any others? Do you think that this could work? Is this remotely feasible?
