So since Destruction has had Skaven to aid their cause, how many players are looking forward to Lizardmen for order?
Savage looks like a great ability.

I was quite excited about their impending arrival but I'm disappointed that now Destruction gets another neutral race in the form of the Undead Vampire Counts. Sigh.
Order ...always behind the curve.
Savage is decent, but the big issue is that the unit taking the damage has to survive to deal its savage damage. That means that it's almost always going to be the controller of the lizardmen that triggers it via assigning indirect damage to the lizard, pinging it with a skink, master rune of spite, etc.

Yeah, it makes me wish that there was some window between assigned damage and death, to apply healing effects.
A little targetted kill and revamped healing would make HE tons considerably more formidable than it is now.
That wouldn't work since healing effects only work on damage that's actually on the unit, not damage assigned to it. You'd need a window before the state-based effect of the unit dying to damage >= hitpoints kicked in, and that's not going to happen.
Healing is one of those things that players really want to work (much like counter-based quests) but in practice it's strategically weak. It's only going to be playable as side effects of something else, honestly.
Don't ruin my dreams, Clamatius.
Dream ruining is only one of my many services. I also provide raining on parades, sarcasm and opinionated waffling at very reasonable rates.
Do you have any references, because your particular skillset has a fairly competitive market around here.
I personally think that the lizardmen are turning out to be really good right know, judging by the preview. The carnasuar alone is a great card, somparing it to the like of chaos knight and stuff, I would take the carnasaur anyday (I know they are to ifferent sides but still). I am looking forward to a slann card, and I think that they could be a great deck to have (I m going to have a mono deck of them, or at least mostly)
Only time will tell I guess, but it is already on the boat so there is a chance for it in august sometime.
Yeah, the Carnosaur is very nice, especially since there are a dearth of Order units that have decent power. Savage 3 is a lot and you can easily leverage that into killing some high-value targets like Deathmaster, the bane of Order unit-based decks.
The Skinks are also really good, one of the better Order creatures.
