I don't think he will be insane banable but he does have some stuff to play around with so we will see.

Here's the thing: Most of these characters are good, not cheap (with perhaps an exception of chun-li. Maybe). They have great abilities, but most of them aren't ban worthy. There's ways around most of them. Hata is currently at that line between powerful characters and banhammer bait.

Bah. Shoulda just remade Hugo3 with different symbols! THEN I woulda been happy... lol

I didn't know the new Hugo was good. That's the first I've heard of it. Most of us are throwing him in our trash card piles after we get our first. He is a 4 40 on turn 1, you have to commit him to get that 6th card, but only after you've played 2 cards, so you are still at 4/40 with a =2 progressive difficulty. Everyone runs anti-draw tech, so you will most likely be stuck at 4/40 with bad abilities for the entire game. I guess I'm just not seeing what is good about him... he is tall though.
