Oddly enough my business trip was canceled but due too short notice and flights are over 400 bucks I still couldn't make I hope everyone has a good time hopefully I will see some of you for the SCC after set 12 drops .

Well, you could make the drive. Is there no one driving from where you are? Try to coordinate with the panhandle group to see if you could meet up with them there and carpool here. That would save you some cash.

No no one in south west FL is going the closest I can get would be orlando and no way for me to get there all the main FL players going are like 9 hours away.

we live all the way in lafayette louisiana and if we did go to your event then it would be longer then 9 hours for us.I think if you want us to make the sacrifice and come all the way to your event then i think that you can travel nine hours to car pool and come to ours.works both ways.

Scratch me off the list of the Panhandle players. Circumstances beyond my control prevent me from attending this event.

So... no more shout outs? I need head counts!!! That'll ensure that I'll have enough chairs, food and drinks. I'm trying to get Paul Bromen down here so that I can whoop him.. as a matter of fact it took me 5 secs to figure out it was him calling me at the shop today.

me: "Hello, Thai speaking."
Paul: "Hey, this is Paul Bromen."
me: "Paul Bromen?"

..... 5 secs later

me: "Oh! Hey, how's it going?"
Paul: "Good. I called to let you know that you regionals kits will be shipped out today."
me: "Today? I hope it'll make it on time."
Paul: "Your event is around the 20th right?"
me: "Oh no.. it's this weekend man."
Paul: "I'm sure it'll make it on time."

conversation continues about regionals banner.

To Paul: If those kits don't make it here on time I'll send the mobs to you... I may be part of them too.

Scuba - you may try to get a flight to ATL. I know Ben said one of their players had to drop out, so you may be able to get a flight to them or something =/

Thai - I tried to talk my new...um...special lady...into coming. I think if we'd started dating a bit earlier, it would have worked. As it is, I have to win the GCC (OR ELSE!) and then come back home and teach her how to play. I may be able to talk her into going to Worlds.

This weekend is going to be insane. So excited.

Prize Update!

The Drunken Master will get a Grey Goose Vodka gift box containing a metal mix can in addition to a Trophy. I was sorta late on getting the trophy so no pix of it until Friday.. might as well wait then for the drunken pix of the winner.
