Recently, we came across an argument during a game.
A hero spent 2 fatigue to move 2 spaces before declaring his actions. The OL believed that heroes have to declare actions before movement points can be spent. The OL wanted to play a trap and force the hero to waste a battle action by insufficient movement. The hero believed that he should be able to use fatigue to move into position first.
The p.18 rules say " Spending Fatigue for Movement - At any time during a hero's turn, he may spend one fatigue to gain one movement point, even if he is currently taking a battle action. " It's obvious that a hero does not need to declare a movement half action to spend movement. I haven't been able to find anything in the rules that restricts movement points only being spent after declarations.
Since it states fatigue can be spent for movement points at any time during the turn, does that imply that the movement points gained can be spent at any time as well?
