I think this was the card. My friend and I did a little test combat last night. It was a lot of fun, but I was a little confused by one card, “Shrug It Off.” I don’t have the books or cards with me, so I’m going off memory.

It was a card with 0 refresh (or at least the number 0 printed in the top right corner). The text reads something like you can put five refresh tokens on this card to gain +2 soak. What I don’t understand is why it doesn’t just have a 5 refresh. It seems like there’s probably some other affect that it interacts with this way but I just don’t know it. Anyone know?

It wasn’t a real issue or anything; it was pretty clear what the action did, I’m just curious as to why it does it that way.

Shrug It Off,

0 recharge in the upper right, upper left is the flag icon inside of a shield,

Traits: "Slayer, Reaction",

Requirements: "Toughness 4+, must possess the troll slayer career ability card.",

Details are: "Special: When you are hit by an attack, you may add 5 recharge tokens to this card to increase your soak value by 2 for this attack only. You may do this after damage has been announced."

It's the same for both the Conservative and Reckless sides of the card.
