If i draw the Warlock ever again, then i will first move in the middle region a bit, and if it is too dangerous, then i will go to the outer region or maybe to the Highlands..
I can at least try to get a warlock quest, to gain a talisman, or maybe another quest to gain a mule...
If You are going to go to Highland, You don't need a Mule.
All You need there is some good sword

The mule will only die there...
Then i will choose for the Talisman, and then i travel to the Highland
Off course, if i get my hands on arnkell, then i don;t need a talisman, but i want to sure that i have one..
Hidden chasm is for a reason LOL In Your case I would take a sword, and count on luck that You will kill at least once Big Bird, and then move a space right before it, to claim his other Relics. Then PoP and voila.
At least in theory....

How can you move a space before the eagle king after you kill it?
The eagle king only teleports you to the middle and outer region...
so actually, we don;t need a talisman anymore, because people are going to the highland or the dungeon...
On top of that, if someone claims arknell, and is teleporting to the middle region, then it is already to late to win from him. Inner region takes 5 turns
