The Gathering Storm. - MAPS

By aaronc2, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

I picked up "the Gathering Storm" when it came out at my local store. Had a thorough read of the adventure but didnt punch any of the tokens etc out. So after a coupld of weeks I didnt really look at it again.

I pulled the adventure book out again the other day thinking that I might actually run this pretty soon. Started reading from the front and saw that it was supposed to have 6 map handouts. Oh-ho. I cant remember seeing any maps! Had a search around but no sign. Even managed to find the bag and original receipt but being two months old I cant really take it back now!

My question is to those that have played the adventure. Did you find the maps essential? Or would it be fairly easy to do it without them

I might contact Fantasy Flight and see if there is a way of getting tehm without having to buy the whoe thing again!

thanks

Aaron

They're in the downloads.

You do realise that the maps are on cards? Kind of smallish (well larger than the standard size cards at least), and with non-player info on the back, so they are bit tricky to use. We use only those, but if you feel that they are too small or don't trust your players, use the downloadable ones that Emirikol linked.

Sorry but there is no link from Erimikol or any Download section for the maps.

If you go to the WHFRP section of the main site (not the forums) they're in the Support page.

There's also a sticky about the downloadable maps on the Gamemasters -section of the WHRP forums with a link to the downloadable content.

Click HERE to go to that thread.

I'm trying to get folks to check the main site too, there's some good nuggets there for newer players.

Oops, my bad, posted a bit too quickly there and somehow assumed that he had actually posted a link.

No I didnt realise the maps were on cards! Too many years of getting fullsize maps in suppliments meant that I was looking for something much bigger! Haha, here they are hiding with the storm tracker card.

Now I really feel stupid!

Thanks for the tip about the downloads. I hadnt thought to look on the main site for any extra goodies.

found it. thank you very much. gui%C3%B1o.gif
