Question about misfortune dice (1 per enemy trained skill)

By plutonick, in WFRP Rules Questions

Well, enemies have trained skills? I looked at the Tome of Adventure and couldn't see any trained skills mentioned there. How can you add more than one misfortune dice then? Or are they implying we will be using generated NPCs that act like the PCs do in game term mechanics?

Most of your NPCs should be fleshed out somewhat, unless they're a generic character, or someone you didn't count on needing.

Do such fleshed out NPCs exist in Gathering Storm or other supplements? I only have the Core box yet.

1 NPC is given a trained skill list and a stance meter. But even so, these rules also apply to PCs. So obviously fleshed out PCs exist.

They do exist in other supplements. Winds of Magic lists several creatures with trained skills.

I would suggest that you add trained skills to others though; any NPC your characters are likely to encounter in any significant way should have training in at least one skill, even if it's just Tradecraft.

Cult Leader is an example of an NPC that has skills trained in the ToA. He has a special ability that amounts to Guile and Intimidate (I think) trained, in the main description....
