Got the new pack in my hands and some time on my hands so here are the new cards that haven't been shown yet. Enjoy!

Miskatonic

"Searching the Reserves" cost 0 steadfast one miskatonic Event. Action: Exhaust a misk character to return an Artifact or Tome support card from your discard pile to your hand.

Agency

"Machete" cost 1 support. Attachment. Weapon. Attach to a character you control. Action: Exhaust Machete to give attached character Fast and CC until the end of the phase.

Syndicate

"Veronica Frost" unique cost 2 character skill 2. Independent. CC. Response: After Veronica Frost is commited to a story, choose another one of your characters commited to that story. That character is immune to triggered effects until the end of the phase.

"Trophy Room" cost 2 support. Location. Action: Exhaust Trophy Room to attach a character card from a player's discard pile face down to it as a blank Attachment support card. Action: Exhaust tropy Room to have a character get +1 skill for each face down card attached to it.

Cthulhu

"Ravenous Piranhas" cost 3 character skill 2 CCC. Creature. Fast

"Feathered Serpent" cost 4 character skill 3 TTT. Serpent. Monster. Action: Change one of Feathered Serpent's T icons into CA until the end of the phase.

"Shrine to Yig" Unique cost 2 support. Location. Your Serpent characters gain T.

Hastur

"Obsessive Playwright" cost 2 character skill 2 AA. Cultist. Lunatic. Action: Drive Obsessive Playwright insane to return a Tome or Artifact support card from your discard pile to your hand.

Yog-Sothoth

"Crazed Shoggoith" cost 3 character skill 3 TCCA. Monster. Tooghness +1. At the begginning of your story phase, Crazed Shoggoth must commit to a story chosen by your opponent, if able.

Shub

"Mi-Go Caretaker" cost 2 character skill 1 A. Mi-Go. Your Mi-Go characters get +1 skill.

"Mi-Go Brain Cylinder" steadfast 2 Shub. cost 0 support. Artifact. Action: Exhaust a Mi-Go character to look at the top X cards of your deck and return them in any order. X is equal to that character's skill.

Neutral

"Tattoo Parlor" cost 2 support. Location. Your Cultist characters gain A.

"The Painted Corpse" cost 0 conspiracy. TCAAI. Conspiracy. Each of your characters commited to this story gains A.

Sorry if these aren't layed out very nice but I'm not a very good typist. I really like these new cards and can't wait to put them in some decks.

I'm new to Call of Cthulhu, and the rules seem unclear on this. If a Steadfast card has 0 cost, you need not drain a resource to play it, correct? But in this case I'm assuming that you still must have at least one Miskatonic University icon beneath each of your domains, correct?

Cost zero cards do not drain a domain.

Steadfast: quantity of "steadfast" faction icons is quantity resources of that faction minimum you must have total, on any domains, drained or undrained, no relation to the resource cost under one domain you might have drained if the steadfast card cost something.

Okay. The online rulebook is worded in a way that makes it sound like Steadfast only matters when draining a domain to play the card, which is why I was confused. I think I get it now, but a rewording of that section of the rulebook wouldn't be too awful. :P

Just checking, you're not mixing up Loyal and Steadfast? Loyal requires you to have X of the correct faction's cards attached, where X is the cost.

Nope, I get all that. :) I was just confused because of the following explanation on Steadfast, found in the online rulebook:

pp. 12: "When a player drains a domain in order to pay the resource cost of
playing a Steadfast card, he must have at least that many resources
on the total number of domains he controls (and make a resource
match as normal)."

It doesn't say what happens if a card with a printed cost of 0 has Steadfast icons, and doesn't require a domain drain. The way I understand it now, is that even though a domain is not being drained, the player still must locate the necessary icon(s) to play a Steadfast card.

In case there's been any confusion thus far, my question was in regards to the first card Billyzbub posted, which is listed as Steadfast.

Well, it is only when one might drain a domain, that steadfastness is determined.

Only three new Loyal cards exist, starting late in LCG with Dreamlands 24, 71, 89, and three from core. The 25 CCG Loyal cards all date from Arkham Edition.

Banal information, excused only to say Loyal and Steadfast are different.

If something is cost zero, steadfast 1 then you have to pay zero points (no need to drain a domain). However, because of steadfast, when you make the payment (even when there is no actual cost, like in this case), you need to make sure you have one resource that matches the steadfast requirement.

So, no domain drain, but there has to be a Miskatonic resource somewhere in your domains in order to play the card referenced.
