Ashcan Pete, after suffering a terrible beat down for his pact with the Lurker is whisked away to the hospital. Because of his blood pact, instead of healing, he chooses the corruption option instead. The next turn, he takes his long and faithful friend Duke out to the Street and well, puts him down for more power, poor, poor Duke.
And what did the Lurker have to say about all this?
Well, though Sister Mary had warned him about bartering with the dark powers to stop the rise of Shub-nigeroth, Ashcan pete never, ever listened...not even to the lessons of the King's Jame's bible Mandy Thompson had been reading him from time to time. So once Ashcan kills his long and faithful friend, the Lurker was quick to point out that his newly accumulated nine power for the sacrifice for his best friend in the world had indeed, cost him his humanity and he was devoured at the end of the turn. Poor Ashcan, that will teach him not to listen to the Nun with a Tommy Gun!
