Question: No Cards in Decks?

By Skyhaven_Games, in Arkham Horror Second Edition

Hi,

I have a simple question I can't figure out the answer to - when you have no cards left in the decks (such as the item decks), do you shuffle the discard pile and make a new deck, or are they gone for good?

Things that are discarded ordinarily go to the bottom of the deck. There aren't any discard piles.

With the exception of Corruptions.

And the Hypnos deck.

Exactly. Things are ordinarily discarded to the bottom of the deck. I'd hope that someone who doesn't yet know this hasn't already tried playing with KH and BGotW expansions.

So, there are no discard piles for cards...

With what exceptions?

Hypnos Deck? (What happens when this runs out, you gain no more cards?)

Corruption Deck? (What happens when this runs out?)

Are there more exceptions?

Hypnos: You know it. If you can't win after 26 free Clues, then no more help for you.

Corruptions: the Ancient One wakes up if you go to draw a Corruption and can't.

The Epic Battle deck does not recycle, but then, even if you get to the last card, you will never have to draw any more of them anyway.

I suppose the Nodens deck is the same as the Hypnos deck, but it would be an EXTREMELY fortunate game for that to happen.
