This is a variant format.

Format and Deck construction rules:

You must have two starting characters. Those two starting characters must have at least 6 different resources between them. They are considered merged into one character with all 6 resources, and all printed abilities.

You may use character specific cards and abilities for either character.

No resource may be represented by more then 30 cards in your deck.

Two Headed Giant
Two Man Power Trip

Thoughts and comments? And if you're one of my players, should I sanction this as an event in the near future?

This format makes my head explode.

As long as it can be balanced (somehow!), it could be a lot of fun. The balancing though does concern me, as does symbol and ability combinations.

My first thought is :.:Taki:.: and promo K' with ridiculous timewalk potential (-3 to opponent's very first card of the game, possibility of first turn lock out).

Promo YS + Anybody will need heavily balancing. Going first, uncommitted may lead to many first turn KO's for many characters... how about Promo YS and Promo Ukyo?

Anyone with white text (non-triggered abilities), anyone with deck/set-up acceleration abilities, anyone with heavy aggro, all of these will need considering as to combinations. While it sounds fun, balancing sounds like too much of a nightmare for this to work.

I would be up for it considering i play nothing but tri resource decks .

I'd really like to do this as it would get people thinking more original ideas instead of just defend and **** that i've seen often. Though I've have to think of a different two characters because one of the ones I wanted to use Isn't legal.

All attacks get powerful 1 and the powerful is playable from the deck, then commiting 1 foundation (itself turn 1) to make the speed equal to the damage! Stupid 'this card is not tournament legal.'
