The upcoming Stannis says, "If Stannis Baratheon is the only HB King character in play, he gains: 'Players cannot draw cards through card effects.'"
Knights of the Realm says:
"While you control more Knight characters than each other player, draw 1 additional card in the draw phase.
While you control fewer Knight characters than each other player, draw 1 fewer card in the draw phase."
My question relates to 4.11 of the FAQ: Agenda cards are not considered to be in play. Further, the effects of an Agenda card cannot be canceled.
Would Stannis prevent you from drawing an additional card with the Agenda (assuming your control more Knight characters than each other player)? Maybe I'm answering my own question (correctly), but I'm thinking it would be, "Yes."
It seems that Stannis isn't canceling anything. Instead he is placing a "cannot" effect, which is absolute and can't be overridden according to 4.3 of the FAQ. He also seems to be placing the cannot effect on the player and not the Agenda.
Also, is there a difference between "out of play" and being not "in play". Agendas are not considered to be "in play." Does that mean they are also "out of play" like Shadow cards?
