Burning sword

I have a Q about Burning sword.

What if my opponent uses something like Black Cells on my character with Burning sword. If I activate then his ability will he become immune to the lasting effect of the location that was created before?

Do agendas count as card effects and thus will be the char with burning sword immune to NW agendas etc?

Form FAQ:

A card cannot gain immunity to a triggered effect
(or a passive ability) with a lasting duration
once that effect has first resolved.

Besides, it must be that way, otherwise he would be immune to effect of Burning Sword (paradox?).

Yes.
