Has anyone run the Edge Of Darkness sample adventure as part of an ongoing campaign? I quite like it and am planning on running it as part of my campaign, but I'm still new to GMing Dark Heresy and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on exp awards. If it comes down to it I'll use the basic Exp awards, but something alittle more substantial would be nice. Suggestions?
Edge Of Darkness Experience
It's a great starter adventure, especially if people are new to Dark Heresy and in need of a quick lesson in the mechanics. And, yes, I've used it as part of a larger campaign. Something to remember is that you can jump from threat to threat rather easily with DH, after all, one month the cell may be tracking suspected Heretek activity on Scintilla, and the next hunting a Xenos threat on the Acreage.

I can't recommend Edge of Darkness enough. It's more than a demo mission; it's a well written, non-linear demo mission that gives every type of acolyte something to do. It also places the emphasis firmly on investigation and, should the acolytes be subtle and gather intelligence carefully, they'll be rewarded for it. It also features what are, in my opinion, one of the most interesting heretical groups in the setting.

EoD also teaches the importance of subtlety and discretion the hard way. I GMed it a month ago and one of the PCs opened his mouth in front of the wrong persons. The consequences were quite punishing.
