By player1454578, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

Hi,

I'm sorry if these are stupid questions.

1) When Revange is sunked will the heroes die? Will the Ov. gain conquest tokens?

2) Do the obstacles drawn on the ship influence the game? ( I'm referring to stairs and walls near the captain whell )

3) If both heroes' and monsters' ships are sunked how the encouter ens? ( this event happend due to the current )

thanks a lot! :)

Yes, this is stated in the encounter rules.

Yes, although if something drawn on the piece isn't a defined obstacle, you can ignore it.

3) If both heroes' and monsters' ships are sunked how the encouter ens? ( this event happend due to the current )

Not sure, though both results (conquest from TPK and gold from party victory) aren't exclusive so you could just apply them both.

First thanks for help.

Yes, this is stated in the encounter rules.

Could you tell me where exactly?

Sorry, it's actually in the "Ships & Sailing" section, not the encounters section. Page 26, under "Sinking Ships".

1) SoB 26
If the Revenge is sunk, the surviving heroes in the encounter all immediately die (giving the overlord conquest) and are sent to their Home Port.
If the Revenge sinks in a dungeon (Island level) then nothing is mentioned that I can find. Simply play on, except teh heroes have lost their starting glyph and cannot return form town if they die, unless they can activate another glyph on the island.

2) The stairs and wall on the ship are not obstacles. They do not fit any of the obstacle descriptions etc. They have no effect on the game.

3) If they both sunk at the same time due to the current driving them aground in the same turn then the rules are silent AFAICT. I'd do the following:
i) do the current movement one space at a time. If one ship sinks before the other you have your winner.
ii) if both ships sink at exactly the same time, then operate both TPK and Party Victory conditions. The heroes get sent to theri home port (and remaining heroes die) but they still get the CT and cash and loot from sinking the enemy ship. But that's just my solution, not anything based on black and white rules.
