I see from the Upcoming section that Goblin Skirmishers / Scottish Wars / 100 years war are being reprinted.. Excellent News indeed as I missed out on these the first time round and now they are impossible to find.

What I was wondering though is, are Fantasy Flight intending to release any more expansions in the vain of "For Troll and Country", with maybe a single figure, or a small unit, along with another Epic size pre-printed map? I love these for the quick set-up time and they must be cheaper to produce than a larger expansion box.

While I don't believe it was the sole reason for the sale of BattleLore from Days of Wonder to Fantasy Flight Games, the public reaction to DoW's announcement of Troll and Country was certainly a factor in that decision. I would be surprised if FFG released a similar expansion. Mind you, price aside (and even that wasn't too terrible in my estimation), I enjoyed (and continue to enjoy) Troll and Country and wouldn't mind seeing an expansion like that pop up now and again.

Hell no, not an abomination like Troll & Country. We spend almost a year waiting for DoW to announce the next big thing for BL and when they did they announced that crap. Hell no. Not again.

FFG won't make the same mistake. Todd is right. I'm pretty sure too that the reason DoW finally gave up on BattleLore was the completely unenthusiastic reception that this expansion had and rightfully so if you ask me.

I remember reading the description of it and couldn't stop staring at it with disbelief. Couldn't believe that DoW was working a whole year to release so little content.

If BL starts going that way again, then they better kill it already. Sorry for venting like this but Troll & Country gets me fired up whenever I hear about it.

Gotta say I agree with Fragmaster.. Unless I see Troll and Country clearanced for $1, I won't pick up that POS. I think this kind of vehement outrage should be kept up from time to time to remind FFG not to make the same mistake ;-) Stay the course FFG - get that Dwarf race set out, then complete the Human CtA deck and follow up with more races and Racial Heroes.
