Sorry, this may have be answered elsewhere,

I am new to Dark Heresy and recently got a set of all the core books. How do you incorporate the expanded skills from the Inq. Handbook into the pre-existing career paths from the core book? I have been pouring over the handbook and cannot find the answer. Given that the initial career paths prescribe certain skills and talents at each new tier level, how do the new skills slot in? It says they can be used by all characters.
