Fellow Descenters,
Do the relics that don't get handed over at he end of the quest go into the next quest? I am guessing no, because they seem to be rather gamebreaking once they are @ their most powerful.

You guess correctly.
Each quest is unique and individual. Nothing gets carried over to the next quest, though there are some poorly patched on rules for keeping the same heroes (and possibly base skills, I don't remember). Frankly, it is far more interesting to use different heroes in each quest anyway, especially in JiT, as you need to learn the variety of capabilities and tactics that go with varied heroes and varied skills.
But it is very imortant that no training and no equipment carries over from quest to quest, let alone relics!
Thanks Corbon, I was aware of the other things. I have been letting the group keep their guys, with only skills, if they beat the quest on the first try (and they want to). I felt it was essential early on to keep the group interested so it didn't turn into me crushing them repeatedly in the first hour (I won't lie, I may have been a little easy on them). I love this game and haven't been able to keep a group interested until now. Now that I have them hooked I have been putting the boots to them medium style and they still love it. Next session will be the first one with a relic so I just wanted to be clear. Thanks again!
