Not yet, but I still have all my old Space Hulk stuff, and I do mean old, as in "antenna terminators" old.

Was actually pondering using it for the hulk mission in Purge the Unclean.

Hmm the only downside I see is teh scale... A decent sized SH map can easily fill even the largest of dinner tables. Personally I'd search on the new for a Space hulk Map generator. I know a few of them are floating around, made by crazy folk who scanned in all the board pieces and poured them into a simple interface. It'll probably allow you to build larger maps and scale them for printing or use with a laptop or so.

I'm personally seriously considering to buy a tablet pc or a touch screen netbook to present my players with handouts and maps... :)

Using Space Hulk is a really good idea. Not only for Final Sanction, but also in the future as part of an adventure.

I guess some don't have the Space Hulk board game. Maybe they want to use this fan made mission generator set for Space Hulk ( really good for map building ) : www.warseer.com/forums/showthread.php

Space Hulk tiles are "good" for DH/RT/DW. I don't say great because they're very thin (corridors are 1 square wide) and quite limiting in what you can do. The best tiles are either D&D tiles or the exquisite DOOM board game tiles (made by FFG).

I own Space Hulk 1st, 2nd and 3rd Ed (plus additional tiles for 1st & 3rd Ed), two sets of DOOM tiles, Warhammer Quest tiles, two sets of Tyranid Attack tiles, and every current D&D tileset X2 (and some X4). Of all of them, the Hulk tiles are actually the least useful. They're great, but the others are so much better.

But if that's all you have, then they can be fantastic. Far better than a grid map and that crazy thing the old timers talk about... what was it again... oh yes, ' imagination ' - whatever that is...

Sadly just 4 tiles, but maybe Space Crusade would suit you better. www.google.de/imgres

Just using the SH tiles doesn't mean one square can only be occupied by 1 Character. You could say that one square is bout the disance of normal movement speed. I meant it just for having something visual that represents some sort of map.

Oh I know that - we usually do 1 square = 2m squared - but it doesn't look as impressive if everything is a single-file corridor.

That's why the DOOM and D&D tiles are better IMO.

In the old rulesthe power armoured marines could fit 2 to a square.
