ITB 2.0: Object-Armours for review

By JCHendee, in Talisman Home Brews

Most of these will also exist as Purchase Cards of varied counts. Some are the same as appeared in ITB 1.0, while others have been adjusted slightly. You may wish to look at the "Objects-Weapons" topic for some card interacts. Some of them have special considerations where Object Limit are concerned. I'll leave these up for about a week for review comments from on or off the forums. Right-Click and Save/View for 300ppi version.

I like the leather armour, as it has a beneficial effect yet not overpowered.

Yeah, it's not a bad find when drawn, and with the G.A.S. armour system, its also a cheap form of Armour Purchase card to combine with others.

Of course gold has become ridiculously plentiful in the game.

I was thinking of a cool armour. Maybe a Cloak of Protection (Dungeons and Dragons reference)

on a roll of a 6 it can save a lost life from either Battle or Psychic combat.

Possibly a Cloak of Elvenkind. There could be like 4 of them in the purchase deck 2 would be "You may evade enemies on any woods space".

1 could be You may evade any enemies on a ravine space. 1 could be You may evade any enemies on a tunnel space.

Just some ideas. I'd do some myself but have too many other things on the go.

Ah, the Cloaks... yes, some of those have been done in other past fan expansions, though it might be hard to find them again. And an "armor" cloak usable in any form of combat would be a tasty item. Something to keep in mind for the future.

Us Canadians spell it Armour, as well as Flavour. We are just a weird bunch up here.

Ooops! My bad... I know better, since it is always British spelling where Talisman is concerned.

All the cards for ITB are already filled in... BUT... while I'm nosing about to upgrade some of my illustrations I'll keep and eye out for something to mock up a few "cloaks" when there is time. happy.gif
