Intimidate checks

By Apollwn, in WFRP Rules Questions

Hello

I would like to ask a few questions about the intimidate checks. When I decide to intimidate someone, is my check opposed by any of his characteristics or skills? I also have 1 question about the use of intimidate. Can I use it to make someone speak the truth if I suspect that he is lying?

It would make sense to make these kinds of Intimidate checks opposed to the enemy’s Discipline (i.e. challenge die according to target’s Will Power and add one misfortune die for every level of training in Discipline).

Intimidating the truth out of someone (i.e. interrogating without physical violence) should certainly be possible. It might make sense to make this a hidden roll though, so that you can add some distracting bits if, for example, the check succeeds but you also generate two banes or, if you fail but generate boons, you can give a nice hint along with some misinformation regarding the main question… Ah, the wonderful 3e dice pools :)

Cheers ;) this makes sence!

THanks a lot!!
