I got this silly idea of running a 4Harry Potter/40k cross over the next Mini-Con my gaming club hosts. What I mean by this is not a believable or likely cross over but a few hours or morbid laughter.

Seriously. Dumbledor would be ancient, and scary with loads of cybernetics, on a first name basis with Lord Sector Hax. Hogwarts would still be a old bording school for young psykers running around between lessons, jinxing each other. Hagrid would be a big feral worlder, or even a mutant. Snape would be even worse. Warp corruption would gnaw at the students. Cyberetic owls would swoop around. Psychic phenomena would be an daily occurrence.

Anyone feeling like helping me with some unholy brainstorming for cool stuff and a plot?

May I suggest having Doumbaldore as a guy that has gone throw one to many Rejuvenation treatments, sometimes he can't recall what he had for breakfast, other times events from centuries ago are as fresh in his memory as if they happened five minutes ago and still other times he's actively reliving a life from centuries past.

have a rumor that among the student body are an Arch-Heretic and the Inquisitor that bested them, both have bean rejuvenated to adolescence, spiritually purified and mind cleansed. have the players wondering if "Harry" is the Heretic, the Inquisitor or just some kid with a lot of talent?

Oh that was a nice spin. Orginally i had planned to stay away from the Harry Potter main character to give the player more free reign but it might be worth considering.

I liked the idea because it played with the whole Voldermort Among Us and Heir of Slitherin angle.
