Card Combos Discovered so Far

Here are some recent combos I discovered. Feel free to add your own combos to this thread for discussion.

Juvenile Wyvern + Shrine to Nurgle = Great blocker and all units it blocked are corrupt

Juvenile Wyvern + Warp Light Cannon + Chillwind = Attach cannon to wyvern and you really have a great blocker, use chillwind to uncorrupt it after you attach

Har Ganeth + walking sacrifice = free card every turn

Har Ganeth + any unit with comes into play ability (eg, Night Goblins) = unlimited attachment card destruction

Har Ganeth + Caught the Scent = get rid of an opponents nasty unit

Abandoned Mine + City Gates = free card every turn

Bloodsworn + Cloud of Flies (can't take credit on this one, read on another thread)

You know that Har Ganeth can only bounce units with 1 hp, right? Given that, a combo with Night Goblins doesn't work without another way of reducing their hp.

On the Order side, Illyriel + comes-into-play abilities is nice since she can bounce your units too. It's easy to forget that. Zealot Hunter is normally your first port of call.

Hey! the new crypt ghouls upcoming in march of the damned looks pretty cool

its not really a combo, but i like to play Wake the Mountains in response to judgement. I guess it could be used with your own judgement to protect a zone, but I only can forsee that as a response to something like will of the electors or another effect that destroys your developments

Here is a nice 3 way combo with HE and D.

Use Illryiel to bounce Zhugbar Engineers to your hand while you have Dwarf Ranger in play.

Opponent has to sacrifce a unit and you get to deal an additional 1 point of damage to unit or capital. I will probably build a deck around this but I don't have 3 Illryiels yet.

Throw in a Dwarf Miner if you need to bounce him for his "heal 2 damage" as he enters play each turn.

Bounce Sigmar's Blessed from Empire and you have the makings a boomerang deck plus as has been mentioned Zealot Hunter for those pesky skavens.

Stand your ground would work well to save a unit sacrificing himself to a glorious death.

Quest: After a card you control leaves play, you may discard 1 resource token from this card to place that card into its current zone as a development instead of discarding it. Quest: Forced: Place 1 resource token on this card at the beginning of your turn if a unit is questing here.

and combo with

Abandoned Mine

Kingdom. Action: At the beginning of your turn, you may return one of your developments to its owner's hand

Here are some more combos

Ugruck + Cloud of Flies = Sniping damage and resource generation.

Har Ganeth + Ugruck + Followers of Mork = Give Followers of Mork 1 damage and 1 to Ugruck. Next turn, return Followers via Har Ganeth and repeat. 2 Indirect damage to opponent every turn and a resource generator.

Zhufbar Engineers + Grudge Thrower + Reclaim the Hold + Abandoned Mine = Sac Engineers every turn and replay

This doesn't work. Followers of Mork with 1 dmg on them are a unit with 2HP and 1 dmg, not a unit with less than 2 hp.

I thought if they take a damage, they have 1 hp left? I guess Har Ganeth would combo good with War Hydra then but you'd have to recast it every turn and that's a 5 cost.

No, it was clarified with regard to Sniktch, that if you have 2 other skaven out, you can't kill Chaos Knights (4HP) even if they have 3 dmg on them, they still have 4HP. Only hitpoint reducers (Vile Sorceress, We Need Your Blood, etc.) combo with Har Ganeth.

Ok so if a unit has 1 damage on it and it's a 2 hp unit, what happens if you give it a -1 hp. Does it then die because of the 1 damage and -1 hp?

Yes.
