Ok, here a good question to FFG. Will they make 24" x 14" playmat for every race from W:I? And is there a chance that they are going to sell them as support for this game so everyone intereted in it could buy one?

I would be very interested in buying such a playmat. And I did not get a chance to have the Game Night Kit.

I would really enjoy a playmat designed for this game as well. While race specific would be neat, I would take one that had boxes for each area of my kingdom and a place for me to place my capitol board.

If they were made available, I'd buy play mats (one for each race including Skaven, Lizardmen, Vampire Counts especially since they dont have capital boards it could appease those who'd really like one, but even a general WH:I one) AND WH:I art sleeves (again, for each race, but i know that's probably wishing for too much but I'd definitely buy hundreds of ones that simply had the same artwork as the backs of the cards the second they came out.

Agreed, I would buy both the card sleeves and playmats.

My dream? Race-specific playmats with the capital board already printed on them : )

I might not be keen on buying a playmat for each faction, but if sleeves were made for each faction with their symbol prominently displayed, I would grab them for empire for sure.

I've had a similar idea:

Playmats which show a landscape from bird's eye view. In the center you see a mountain, which will be the place where you can put your capital board on (it could also be moat or anything else, that would let the capital look even more mighty).

At the left side of this mountain you can see fields and farms. Those represent your kingdom and here are spots for cards shown (and also for developments).

At the right side of this mountain you find woods, hills and other landscapes that could bring your units to quest there. Places for cards and developments included.

The battlefield would look... well - like a battlefield. A ruined landscape, made of dust, weapons (blood and cold meat for the hardcore version ^^) and maybe some flowers for the high elves.

I'd love a playmat like this. It would bring the card game closer to a strategic board game (or even tabletop a little bit). What do you think? Ah yes - and gimme some cardsleeves with the empire emblem please! ;D
