What is the level of interest in 2nd Edition? I have a large number of books I won't be using (Deathwatch is to blame).

rpgnow sells pdf's of 2nd edition stuff.

I think they are looking to sell their 2nd Ed Books, not buy the .pdfs.

You can check around on E-Bay and Amazon for a majority of the titles from 2nd edition. Both offer a good selection and list the asking prices being offered on their web sites. Some prices for a few of the hard to find books are pretty steep, so you may have a gold mine on your hands if you have the right books in tip-top condition.

The Tome of Corruption and Children of the Horned Rat are going for quite a pretty penny in like new condition.

I waited quite a while to get mine at bargain basement prices and lucked out by finding a few of them had been turned in to my local used book store. I ended up swooping in and grabbing them before a local ebay-er could get his hands on them. As I saw them he was pulling up pricing for the series of books on his iPhone. The quicker hand won the day though since I knew what I wanted and what their value was without having to do the search. He gave me a dirty look. He probably should have picked them up off the shelf before looking up the info.
