Hello, i feel like I'm asking a lot of silly questions of late but unfortunately necessary.

I'm taking a break from Martell for a while so I'm going to try Baratheon Shadows/Small Council.

Queen of thorns and Tyrion have character abilities that require cards to come out of shadows. Can Queen of thorns gain a power for herself coming out of shadows? Or do i have to wait until the next card come out of shadows?

They both are self-triggered. Thy are fully in play by the time their ability kicks in so they both get bonuses just from getting out of shadows by themself.

A similar question was asked recently about Qyburn. Whenever you take an action, there is an opportunity for players to play responses after that action has been executed. All that matters for responses is that the play restriction is met when you have the opportunity to trigger the response. So not only can cards like Tyrion and Queen of Thorns trigger when they come out of Shadows, you can also trigger them if you bring Qyburn out of Shadows and then use his response to bring one of them out of your opponent's dead pile. I thought that was pretty nifty, since intuitively I don't think about being trigger to responses on cards that were not even in play when the play condition (something coming out of Shadows) is met.
