Last night, I played Runewars with 3 other people. Almost all of the board pieces were used. As we were placing the neutral units on the board, we discovered that there weren't enough Giant units for the areas that required Giants. Is this the case with other players' Runewars games, or is our particular game missing pieces?

There's a misprint on the tiles that have giants such that they ask for more giants than you are given. You should have 4 giants, if memory serves. The hex numbered 2 should have 2 giants, the other tiles should have 1 each, IIRC.

As Steve-O said. I tend to remember it by remembering "Tile 2 has 2 Giants" in trying to remember which one is correct.

I actually did something I rarely do, too - I took a sharpie and marked the 3 and 6 tiles to have a "1" for the Giant instead of 2.

(Also, for what it's worth, you probably have an extra Dragon, also, as only 3 of the 4 Dragons will ever be on the board).

Oh, okay, that makes sense. Two Giants each on three spaces would be a lot.
