From the FAQ:
Q: What happens to the familiars when the owner dies? Where do they go when the owner returns from town to a glyph?
A: Familiars remain in the dungeon. The controlling hero may still move them as per normal.
hey thx
well that solves one problem
now the next problem.
okay we did a dungeon last were the dungeon itself collapses.
what if the familier is on the tile that is collapsing this turn and cant move away from it.
the tile is removed and so is the familier, but what happence now, does the familer return somewere or does the hero summon him again??

I believe it says in the quest text that familiars caught on collapsing tiles will reappear on the space closest to where they were on their owner's next turn. At least that's what I remember, it's been a while since I played that quest.
I suddenly have a funny question...
Can familiars walk thru monsters? And can they stop in spaces occupied by monsters and vice-versa?
JitD Rules, page 14:
"Familiars move like heroes, except that they can move
through enemy figures and can end their movement in
the same space as another figure."
Ah dratz~ I knew I saw them somewhere... Thanks!

Yep, they sure can. Except for Shadow Soul, who I believe has explicit rules saying he cannot end in the same space as a figure and figures cannot end in his space (but they can still move through one another.) That's mainly to prevent the situation where the owner wants to swap places with him while another figure is in the same space, I think.

We really should create a house rule to allow this, and if u play Quake, u will know what I mean when I say telefrag !
