AND THE NEXT EXPANSION IS......

Baratheon!

Wow, I don't know if it's a reprint or not, but I bet some people are going to be pretty happy to get to play with that no draw Stannis. I know some stag players have been asking for Vanguard Lancer to come back as well.

Not a surprise at all. Still, I'm awfully excited and worried.

and here is some more spoilers here! And I must say, Bearer of the Light is the biggest reprint for me. Holy crap asshai is back!

Awesome reprint selection - would have liked a little more stand, (was really hoping for Forever Faithful) but on the whole - this is a home run

Knights of the Realm is a huge reprint and yes - as I wrote elsewhere - Vanguard Lancers go in EVERY deck. I'm digging up my ToS versions tonight to start putting in decks for casual play already.

Stannis is not a reprint is is the second best version to ever see print. THAT's an ability wirth five gold:. turning off GTM, Sam etc? Yes, please

The knights that make you first player ayotmatically are amazing. Combo them with Foxes Teeth? Nasty as hell.

Superior Claim coming back - AWESOME! An all time Stag staple.

I'm counting the days already.

For those of us who are new to the game in the LCG era, can some of you veterans post descriptions of what the CCG-era cards mentioned actually do? For example, Vanguard Lancers, Feast or Famine, The King's Law, Ser Emmon Cuy, Ser Cortnay Penrose, Ser Parmen Crane, Marya Seaworth...

I know the new LCG era cards will likely be different, but some rough idea of what the cards do is better than no idea at all...

Thanks all!

This is the card i'm afraid of, can somebody tell me if this card had limit on it or not, i can't seem to remember. Power is becoming increasingly easy to claim again and I've already got a good idea for a deck build, many of these reprints solidify my idea.

Marya Seaworth sounds like a straight reprint. So 2 gold, 1 str. intrigue icon. ally. lady? any phase, kneel marya to stand a character.

Vanguard Lancer two cost, two str. mil pow. knight. gives 1 initiative and 1 influence.

Feast or Famine. I forget exactly what it did. but it was a plot with 0 5 1 and you could choose to add 5 gold to your gold count. if you did something else happened. like skip the draw phase or something.

as for the rainbowguard, one of them gave + 1str to bara lords. One let you kneel a rainbowguard to save a lord or lady from being killed. or something like that. maybe had to discard a rainbowguard. and forget about the third.

Superior Claim netted you +2 POW when you won a POW challenge by four or more and was limit once per challenge

Vanguard lancers (one of my all time faves) is a little 2 gold knight with 2 STR MIL/POW and +1 INF/+1 Init in the text box. Opened up all osrts of effects by flattening the iNF curve.

Marya seaworth was 1 STR INT icon - kneel to stand a character. Two gold I think. don't know if she's a straight reprint - but if it is: she saw a ton of play and will again.

I forget the Rainbow Guard knights - they weren't too memorable - but one let you save Lords through card discard (I think). And the toher agve a +1 STR boost. They'll be better now because there was a lot of Cannot be Saved in VED/WED era.

Feast or Famine and King's Law don't ring a bell. i don't think either saw a lot of action. I think Feast or Famine was some kind of gimicky combo Plot - but it wasn't to my taste and i can't recall it.

Superior Claim is limit one per challenge wreckingball. and for anyone that doesn't know what that does, look here.

Feast or famine, i believe it had 2 claim, and you either got 5 gold and didn't get to do challenges, or 0 gold and could do challenges.

Actually stags the vanguard lancer gave +1 influence and +1 initiative.

oh yeah! that's right! I always liked that plot. awesome against blockade!

Also, anyone else wonder if its the origional salladhor Saan ?

That question has crossed my mind.....

Fingers crossed.

also, just noticed that the brothers say "is the only bara king in play" so at least they won't be shut off by silly little tommen, or robb, or mance. Sucks against another Bara player, ~but who the hell plays bara these days?!

When this box comes out, Bara knights are gonna be popular again I think. Especially with something like Renly for blanket cost reduction.

Narrow Escape. 'nuff said.

One of the most useful cards in the game, and on my short list of events that should always be legal (Paper Shield, Interrogation, PTTS/PTTT/Tears, Ransack). :)

It's a big furry stag -smelling christmas!

or in other words: omg omg omg!

(Hopefully no-one can tell from this that I'm sort of excited about this. kinda.)

Interesting that this is the most expensive Renly that we've seen.

its funny how its the little things that i really appriciate...bearer of the light = awesome (I think I mentioned something about that card before....)

I'm curious about this part on the info page "new anti-Shadows cards like Sister of Truth and The King's Law."

I also wish I could remember what storms end or smuggler's cove are (or if they are new look forward to them) bara needs some impact locations that are independent of seasons.

The bara brothers are nice, I'd rate them in this order right now (based on their effect and the effect they replace): Stannis, renly, robert.

Myra is awesome awesome awesome.

some of these cards make it a good thing the plot was neutered a little bit as I now have lots of tricks instead of relying on the perfect time for the plot.

Narrow Escape was a staple in my greyjoy rush decks.....

more standing, not sure if its a reprint though with Obey the King ("either kneel an opposing character so that you can drive home an important challenge, or use it to stand one of your own characters.")

really really intrigued by the ser's (who the heck is parmen crane? ~the inventor of the crane kick?)

I wonder if there will be another margery in this one.......hope not.

I also remember ruby of R'hollor being pretty nice too (other then the fact the card art made it be called boobie of r'hollor......yeah we are 5 years old....)

If its the smuggler's cove from before it was one cost bara location. Challenges: during a power challenge, kneel to give a participating character +2str and stealth until the end of the phase.

Storm's End was three cost bara location. Response: After you win dom, kneel to get a card back from your discard pile.

i remember the cove now...wish it was hollowed ground, but its still okay.

Well, there were other versions of Storm's End than just that one, Staton. But yes, I bet that's probably the one it is if it is indeed a reprint.
