Does anyone recall if the Kitsu have allowed any non Kitsu or non Lion to train in their Shugenja schools?

Edited by FelixFenixI would view this in a similar way to ishiken. If a non-Lion demonstrates that they have the ability to talk to ancestors, the Kitsu will want to train them.
Thanks Tonbo Karasu, that’s a really interesting point of view that I haven’t considered before. 👍
Edited by FelixFenixIt depends what you talk about. They have been non-Kitsu who trained in the Kitsu normal shugenja school (I recall at least one Isawa), which, as Karasu pointed out, only requires to have some tenuous link to the ancestors. If you speak of the Sodan-senzo ones, none has been recorded, as you need to have pure Kitsu blood to do so.
Thanks Okuma. Have there been an official Akodo Shuhenja?
I’m under the impression that the Kitsu Sodan Senzo equivalent in 5E is the Kitsu Realm Wanderer School, am I right?
They have been official Akodo shugenja. There is one in a really old material. Also, before the Kitsu joined in, shugenjas used to be Akodo and Ikoma.
