Where will the RRG be hosted after shutdown?

By Cpt ObVus, in Star Wars: Armada

Now that we a have a “living” rules doc, it would be a shame if it were lost in the aether. Does anyone have plans to put it up somewhere? I keep hoping that AMG has some plan to at least host the rules doc and other basic resources, but I guess there’s been no word on that yet?

It's just the forums getting shut down, not the product pages.

Forgive me if I’m not confident about FFG’s odds of survival. I have a feeling this whole site may disappear completely.

They still make Board and Card games, which is Asmodees Bread and Butter. Plus they've just released new expansions and editions for not only their more popular, but own IP lines.

FFG won't be going anywhere.

That's the problem.

They're not going to go anywhere decent quickly, either.

In our hearts.

Thats where it will be stored

I would assume this will all pass over to AMG, they'd have to be pretty incompetent not to, which would be telling of the games future in itself.

You assume some of us have Hearts.

Even if the FFG site abruptly disappears before AMG is ready to start hosting content (which I doubt - we received like, 2 months notice on these forums) Asmodee could probably add support downloads to the store.us.asmodee.com product pages - that's what the German version of the Asmodee store does (and where we get those sweet leaks).

But reorganizing AMG's site to include Star Wars sections shouldn't be that hard. Minimum-effort support would be making the Rules page multiple columns, for each supported game. They added whole pages for each Star Wars-related announcement, with download links to a PDF version of the press release. Their CMS should be plenty flexible.

While poking around, I discovered that FFG once did a Kingdom Hearts card game .

The absence of a heart is probably a better storage space, strictly speaking.
