Stupid beginners question Part 2 ;)

By Murtl, in Warhammer Invasion Rules Questions

Hi!

I just have one question about repeater bolt thrower. I read a lot of this card in this forum and just want to check if i get it correct.

For this example lets say my opponent does nothing. In my first round i play any card in the kingdom zone with one power. In the second round i play contested stronghold and one development in my kingdom zone. On my third turn i play repeater bold thrower and a development in my battlefield. From now on, is it true that i can deal 6 indirekt damage every round if i spend all my resources for the thrower?

If i use the DE card Reaper bolt thrower i can make the same. Is this correct too? So why use the more expensive repeater?

I hope you can help my. Thanks!!!!!!!!!

Yes and no. If you spend all 6 resources, you will do 6 times 1 indirect damage (each use is resolved on its own), not 6 dmg all at once, so if your opponent has even 1 unit with Toughness 1, you're doing nothing against him.

Repeater Bolt Thrower is a HElf card, thus only usable in Order decks, Reaper Bolt Thrower is a DElf card, only for Destruction decks. Also, the DElf RBT doesn't require any developments in your BZ, though since quite a few DElves benefit from them (Lokhir, Spearmen, Chariots), seems kinda odd.
