I hadn't seen that the forums were shutting down when I saw this thread. JFC, guys, don't give me a heart attack like that.
We were just missing a K,
not bad everyone.
But...muh self esteem....
In fairness, these decisions are being made above FFG's level. The game was taken away from them, they didn't give it up. I'm sure shutting down forums for games they no longer run is part of that.
Sucks still.

as they ramp into a few lines of games could we see something launch in jan 21.
could wave 2 appear on atomic games instead of ffg

Discord is really no alternative to a forum.
Maybe we can use the reddit untill AMG sets up a forum.
If they even set one up that allows discussion. Their current one only allows rules questions, thats it.

No, they're shutting down all of their forums. Just checked in the L5R forum, it has the same notice as well.

X-COM the Board Game, one of my favorite games, has 2 posts. One person saying "First Post!" and FFGEvans posting "The Forums Are Closing"
L5R: TCG, which is wildly popular and churning out content, has 78K posts.
The last post besides FFG Evan was 23 hours ago.
So yeah, I get it I guess.

My guess is that the ffg brand will continue but every other element of the company has been, or is being, shut down. All.the functions are parcelled out to other departments.

I did enjoy coming over here, even though I wasn't in Armada yet. Was cool to get an insiders view while I decided if I was going to spend or not.
