3 custom characters

I've just looke at your cards and they are quite original. I like the Rebellious Vampire in particular, it seems that he is a very involving Character. Have you already played with any of these Characters?

As for the graphics, I like all of them but Righteous Avenger has backgroung grass cut on the left side, which doesn't look nice. Maybe you could try to correct it.

If it were possible, I'd like to translate these Characters into Polish (for that I need the graphics of Characters in better quality).

Rebelious Vampire is too confusing with the trophy situation. Too many things going on at once with trophies. Maybe with alternate wording it could be better. But it is overpowerful from mid-point onwards. Once you get 3 or 4 trophies you have such an advantage that no one can catch up. Because each easy victory after that point gives you 1 craft and 1 strength.

Righteous Avenger gives too much for winning a combat versus another character. Maybe you can gain a strength or a craft instead of a taking a life, gold or object. She is overly strong in comparison to the rest of the deck. Only a handful of characters have a 7 stat base.

The Lich is unique, though his stat base is too low. He would be the worst of all characters in the current deck. Change the strength to 2.

The one knock I have on the Vamp and Avenger is having 2 abilities for single situations. This is too confusing. The lich would be fun to try, and using the reaper more is always fun. Though I think result of a 5 everytime is a bit much. maybe roll a D6 and 1-3 = roll normally 4-6 result is a 5 on the reapers chart.

After my first playtest, your right I need to redress the characters.

I thouroughly enjoy people trying to add to the game. I always try state what makes a good balance and ease of use. Hopefully you strike a good balance with them.

The Vampire is now very weak in one area, without one of the main ways to increase craft and strength, how is he meant to get through the portal of power or the mines/crypt?

I love the artwork. Do you know of a website that supplies images like these? I have some character ideas, but I'm not much of an artist.

Now onto one of my fav races. The Skaven hehehe.

I like the Warrior of Chaos's ability to glimpse alternate endings, and I really like the two pieces of armor turn standoffs into wins idea.

Yeah I have to admit its good and fun to play.

One problem with this WoC version is that it is dependant upon a game based on a random draw ending. I take it that with a standard revealed ending he gets nothing on that roll of 6? For example, replacing the Warlock Quest ending would create mechanics complications in a game using it that couldn't be adequately resolved to everyone's satisfation. That's way too much for any one character.

At least he would get the 1 life anyway. Could put in if its not a random draw ending he gets another bonus. But personally I never play anything but random draw ending so...

That Vampire is a *****. We played a game this evening and he was rocking 15 trophies, it took the Amazon's might (And a Wand) to scratch at his sides and manage to damage him which ultimately turned the tide of battle in her favour, could've gone either way but I feel the vamp needs to have a base Fate of 1 or 2.

Really enjoy the Lich's ability to gain fate from someone's loss of life. We played a game with the Lich and my Magic Addict (http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_foros_discusion.asp?efid=130&efcid=1&efidt=340398) and took some managing to keep him from gaining fate from my constant spell casting, they made a great game together till they both died LOL.

Vampire is now 1 fate.
