Just played my first game, rules question.

Me and a friend played the new player scenario 1 infrantry. A situation came up at the end of the the game that I could not find in the rules. Does a squad that is pinned still get control of hexes with victory and command markers?

If it is in the hex that is uncontrolled or previously controlled by the other side at the beginning of the command phase, they will control it even if pinned or disrupted.
