A night before Shipsmas

By Packerman29, in Star Wars: Armada

‘‘Twas the night before shipsmas, when all thru the spaceport, Not a Ship was idling, not even a Carrier transport.

The admirals clothes were hung in his quarters with care, in hopes that Vader will not make him meet his despair.

The seamen were nestled all cozy in their racks, while visions of rebels were dying from their attacks. And Palpatine in his robes, yelling “I am the Senate”, Just called in order 66 and decimated many a planet.

When out in the spaceport rose such an alarm, the new kids in town looking to cause some harm. An Acclamator sending out squadrons in a flash, that sent Thrawn looking for his sash.

The Droids are looking to enter the foray, with Count Dooku and company not looking to parlay. What’s that my eyes see, a Munificent and her Turbolasers be, as she makes her enemies flee.

What shall this upcoming battle ensue, who know when the battle will subdue. What will this arrival do the the meta, one thing is for sure, this just got betta

You asked for it.....

The Armada v1.5 Christmas Carol

Good King Yavaris has dropped out - from the list of Rieekan,

Leia's point drop came about - and the game was even,

Tarkin shall return to play - giving token treasures,

Use them in a 1.5 way - ready 'Lectronic Counter Me-a-sures.

General Tagge can choose his turn - likewise Garm Bel Iblis,

Admonition's tokens burn - Mon Karren nerf what is this?

Mothma points are down a bit - no buff for Devastation,

Avenger card is not worth spit - H9s are modifi-ca-a-tion.

What all LMC80 lovers are thinking.

'Twas the day of release, and all through the city
Not a shipment arrived. Oh what a pity!
The players showed up to the game store with care,
Only to find that Clone Wars wasn't there!

There arose from the store such a disappointed clatter,

That the manager came out to address the matter.

"We've waited for months, how could this be?"

"It's not our fault, blame Asmodee!"

So the players went home, Clone Wars would come later.

For now they settled for Tabletop Simulator.
