I've seen quite a few folks discussing Neb builds with Leia now that she's cheaper.
Yavaris - Changes

Some of us were running Nebs with her before The Cheapening...and she was decent.
Maybe yavaris was the reason for leia’s high price? Good that it’s gone then. Will miss ten numb triple tap, although it never triggered anyway...

The Cheapening!
Genius
About time. 9 waves too late.

Oh? You have opinions about squadrons?
The change against ships - marvelous, well balanced, and still quite powerful.
The change against squadrons - combined with the awesome nerf to Intel - guarantees we won't be seeing Yavaris anytime soon. A Torpedo Hammerhead with Expanded Hangars and Flight Controllers gives you an equal effect but is much cheaper.

And now it’s even possible to get a Flight controllers card, I can stop borrowing it/ kick out my printed blurry card.

Except that one match were i played 10 TIE Fighters against you and you killed like 5 or 6 just with Ten Numb alone
Edited by >kkjOn a sidenote: A Adar Tallon-Luke Skywalker Double Tap with Yavaris is now more powerful than the Luke Triple Tap before! 4 dice through shields!
Why do you guys clobber poor nebulons? With Auxiliary Shield Teams they are not that fragile. Double brace and evade changes certainly helps them. And Salvation and Vanguard does have some uses. Sure not that strong and
straightforward
easy to fly, but very iconic and IMO she can offer something that other ships can't. Nebs are usually my number 1 choices when I'm looking for escort ships (tho I lose majority of my games lol ), they are decent frigates.

*3.
You aren’t activating Luke twice with Yavaris given Tallon’s timing.
So couldn’t you put Fighter Coordination Team on another ship and then wouldn’t it still work with Yavaris?
Yavaris title reads: “Each squadron
you
activate may choose to only attack during
your
activation.”
And on page 21 of the RRG under the heading “Upgrade Cards” it reads: “On upgrade card effects, the term “
you
” refers to the ship that the upgrade is equipped to.”
So the movement caused by another ship earlier in the round is not excluded by Yavaris since the squadrons just can’t move during Yavaris’ activation and frankly, wouldn’t FCC be better on a ship with greater than 2 in squadron anyway. Of course, I guess that means the second ship is precluded from running a different card in that slot, but still the end result is a Yavaris/FCC combined turn. No? Yes? Anyone? Beuler? Beuler?

Actually, with my previous post’s suggestion of putting FCC on another ship, you can easily add Auxiliary Shield Team to Yavaris and keep it in the game an extra round or so. Just a thought.

This. I have been putting AST on my nebs and have never looked back since. The extra 1 shield on both sides makes a lot of difference in determining if it is still in the game for 1 more turn.

I read it that way too. But having fcc on yavaris was stronger, since there was no chance to react to the movement if yavaris also went first that round.
Adar talon on another ship is also nice. Move Luke or Keyan with adar, then activate again with yavaris.
